Studenac Picnic Ground, Trebinje
Studenac Picnic Ground, a spring and swimming spot on the Trebišnjica with an old water wheel, loved by generations of locals.
The Studenac spring on the Trebišnjica is the prettiest picnic spot right by town, two and a half kilometres from the centre. Generations of locals have come here for outings, picnics and school trips.
Studenac lies on what may be the loveliest stretch of the Trebišnjica's short natural course. One of the old dolaps, the wooden water wheels once used for irrigation, survives on the bank and gives the place an old-world charm.
Shade from tall trees, picnic tables and clear water make it ideal for a summer day by the river without a long drive.
