Lastva Picnic Ground, Trebinje

Lastva Picnic Ground, a picnic ground on Lake Lastva, loved by anglers and by families for barbecues.

Lastva is a picturesque picnic ground thirteen kilometres east of Trebinje, on the road to Nikšić, on the shore of Lake Lastva. Plenty of spots are good for picnics, barbecues and other outdoor activities, making it ideal for a relaxed day by the water.

The lake is exceptionally rich in fish and a favourite with local anglers, and the fishing season is ceremonially opened here every year.

At Ušće near Lastva there is also a branch of the Museum of Herzegovina, the bequest of Dubravka Kujačić, with occasional exhibitions and concerts, and the swimming pools of the Sušica river are close by.

Getting there

13 km east of Trebinje, along the road to Nikšić.
